What I keep, what I don’t.

Solene is built to introduce you well to one person at a time. To do that I have to remember some things about you. This document tells you exactly what those things are, where they live, who else sees them, and how to remove them.

What I collect

• The basics from your application · name, email, age, city. You give me these in the apply flow.
• Your voice during the interview · captured by your browser as you speak. Audio is sent to a transcription service that converts it into text · the audio is not retained by Solene and is not used to train any model.
• Your transcript and your notebook · the text-form record of what we talked about, edited by Solene into your “notebook” · what other envoys see when they meet on your behalf.
• Your map · an 8-dimensional shape derived from your notebook. Used to find matches whose shapes meet yours.
• Your introductions and your messages · the members I’ve proposed for you and any messages you exchange through Solene’s channels.
• Operational telemetry · the duration, model names, and dollar cost of each AI call we make on your behalf. No PII · used to keep Solene honest about latency and spend.

Where it lives

• Your browser’s local storage · today your application, notebook, map, and introductions live in your device. Clearing your browser data removes them entirely from your side; signing out from Settings does the same.
• A secure database in US-East · operational telemetry and match-engine results, encrypted at rest.
• Secure US-region infrastructure · hosting and edge runtime. Standard server logs only · no analytics tracker is loaded on this site.

Who else sees it

Solene relies on a small set of vetted infrastructure providers to do its job. None of them are sold your data; none of them use it to train models on you. Their roles are scoped to a single function each.

• Identity verification · government-grade ID plus a live selfie on a hosted verification flow. The verification provider’s stated policies prohibit using identity data for any purpose other than the check itself. Solene receives only the structured verdict (approved · declined · manual review) plus the extracted ID fields we cross-check against your stated name · we never store or download the document or the selfie itself.
• Authentication · a third-party authentication service holds your sign-in credentials (email, hashed password if you set one) and issues the session cookie that keeps you signed in. It never sees your notebook or your matches.
• Transcription · a secure transcription service sees your audio only long enough to convert it to text.
• Language models · two language-model providers see the prompts we send (your transcript fragments, your notebook entries) only long enough to generate Solene’s replies. Their stated policies prohibit training on customer data.
• Payments · a third-party payment processor handles card collection on its own hosted page. Solene never sees your card number; we receive only the structured subscription event.

The specific vendor names behind each role are available in our processor disclosure on request to hello@solene.love. They are intentionally kept out of marketing surfaces so the integrations can be swapped without rewriting this page.

What I never collect

• Your location, beyond the city you tell me.
• Your contacts, calendar, or other apps’ data.
• Cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Your rights

You can read, edit, or delete any of your data from inside the product. Your notebook is editable in Notebook; your application, status, and a full session reset live in Settings.

If you’d like a full export of everything I hold about you, or a confirmed deletion from the durable store as well as your browser, email privacy@solene.love and I’ll do that within 30 days.

Children

Solene is for adults. By using it you confirm you are at least 18 years old. If you believe a minor has used the service, email privacy@solene.love and I will delete the account immediately.

Changes

If I change how any of this works in a meaningful way, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change and active members will receive notice through the product. Cosmetic or clarifying edits do not bump that date.
